What is included, what it costs and how it works. By paying the subscription, the school accepts these terms.

What is included

Every Surfbookie feature, current and future. The same on every plan.

A booking engine that reads the ocean. Lessons, packs and levels with real prices. Slots open only when conditions are good for each level, by the tide parameters you set.
Real tide data. Tides and forecast up to six months ahead, connected to every booking and slot.
Level check. Every student books the lesson that fits them.
Online payments. The student pays when they book.
Your whole day on one screen. Lessons, coaches and payments. Who booked, who paid and who needs a coach.
Automatic messages. Confirmations, reminders and messages for students, coaches and staff, by WhatsApp, SMS or email.
Student database. History, level, coach notes and last visit.
Board control. What is rented, what is free and what is in repair.
Initial setup and support. Over WhatsApp.

Terms

Before you start

The school is a registered business with its legal and tax status in order, able to receive payments and to issue the invoices its country requires. Keeping that current is the school's responsibility; Surfbookie collects on the school's behalf and does not replace it.

How the costs work

Subscription: $25 USD a month, charged on the same day each month as the day you subscribed. Booking fee (5%): added to the price of each lesson and paid by the student when booking. It does not come out of your price. Payment processor: the cost of processing each payment is borne by the school, because that is what it costs to charge online. With ONVO it is 3% + $0.25 per transaction.

Price

The $25 USD/month fee stays fixed. It could only change if variable operating costs (messaging, servers) rise to a level that makes it unsustainable, and we would tell you in advance.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by letting us know in writing at least 30 days before your next charge date. If you cancel, you lose the current price; if you return later, the prices in force at that time apply.

Privacy

Your data and your students' data are confidential. Surfbookie does not share them with third parties without your written consent.

General

If there is any disagreement, we look to resolve it in good faith. These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
